We run all of our boat transfers based around the tide. As the tide changes daily, our boat times may vary, and there are times throughout the day where the tide is too low for our boats to pick-up or drop-off guests directly from Rimba. The boat times will be given to you when you make a reservation with us.
Adult: RM150++ return.
Child (3 – 14 years old): RM100++ return.

To facilitate your trip, we can organise a car (up to 4 people) and/or an MPV (up to 7 people) to pick you up and drop you off at home. Both types of vehicles will go through the car lane at Singapore and Malaysian immigration, this means you do not have to get out at the border. All vehicles have air-conditioning and seatbelts.
All payment is made on departure from the resort using cash or credit card. You do not need to pay the drivers.

There is a ferry from Singapore Tanah Merah terminal to Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal on Thursday or Friday morning at 8.30am, the ferry takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to Malaysia. From Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal it takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes by road to Tanjung Leman and is a much faster way of getting to Rimba on a Thursday or Friday morning or back to Singapore on a Sunday afternoon (given the traffic and immigration queues when traveling across the border by road at the weekend). The car journey from Desaru Coast to Tanjung Leman takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The transport to/from Tanjung Leman will be arranged by Rimba.

The ferry service is run by Batamfast and not Rimba Resort. Rimba has no control over the ferry times, punctuality or service provided by Batamfast.

Travelling from Kuala Lumpur
You can drive, take a bus to Mersing or Johor Bahru or fly to Johor Bahru.
1. Taking a private car:
Price (one way): 1 – 3 people: RM1000++ ; 4 – 5 people: RM1100++ ; 6 – 7 people: RM1150++

2. Taking a bus:
You can get a bus to Johor Bahru or Mersing, travelling time may vary depending on what bus company you use.
3. Fly from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru:
The airport in Johor Bahru is called Senai. This flight only takes 50 minutes, the airlines to look at are: AirAsia, Malindo & FireFly. Please check the boat times with the resort before booking any flight or bus tickets.
Travelling from Mersing:
Take a taxi to Tanjung Leman, this is 1 hour away and costs approximately RM150 paid directly to the driver.
If you are travelling from other cities, we will need to get a quote from the transport company.
The pick-up and drop-off is from 77 Prinsep Street in Singapore. The departure time will depend on majority preference of all guests travelling that day, and as such, can only be confirmed closer to your stay. All vehicles have air-conditioning and seatbelts.
