Jungle Trekking
Exploring the island by foot is a great way to see Pulau Sibu. Take the 20-minute Jungle Trek to Sea Gypsy Resort and you may be lucky enough to see some fascinating wildlife along the way such as; Chinese Water Dragons, Skinks, Monitor lizards and Wild Boar! Take a swim to cool off afterwards at Sea Gypsy Resort which doesn’t have a reef, making it perfect for swimming.If you are feeling adventurous you can take our jungle trek and then continue beyond Sea Gypsy Resort to explore the local Island Village known as Kampung Duku. The total time from Rimba Resort to the Kampong Duku will take around an one hour and 15 minutes. Kampong Duku, a small fishing village, is home to around 100 people, and has a few small shops selling snacks and refreshments.
Kayaking and Paddle Boarding
Paddle boards & kayaks are available to rent from our dive center. The water is clear, so be sure to check out all the vibrant signs of life on our house reef just below you!
Beach Volleyball
Bring your friends and family down to the beach for a fun and exciting game of beach volleyball! Located right on our private beach next to the bar, it’s a net with a view! To get started all you have to do is stop by Hi-Tide Divers located in the center of the resort to get a ball. We can also organise group Volleyball games for large groups such as family reunions, weddings, or teambuilding groups. Check out our Group Bookings page for more info.
Bar Games
Our Beach Bar is a great place to chill out and play some games. We have a large selection of card and board games available for your use. Our Bar features a large lounge area as well that is great for large groups. The bar opens at 8.30am and closes when the last guest stops drinking – planning a party? Let us know and we can help plan your perfect weekend away.
Children’s Fun
Our Beach Bar is located in the center of the resort, and has a large lounge area with plenty of comfy seating and beanbags for lounging. Attached to the bar is as outdoor sundeck with sun beds that look out over the sea. We also have a selection of games, and movies for the little ones as well. We offer a selection of snacks and yummy child friendly beverages at the bar as well. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon.
