TEAMBUILDING AT RIMBA RESORT

Rimba Resort offers a mix of Asian and Western style cuisine from our Halal kitchen. All our food is freshly prepared and our kitchen staff is able to adapt to special dietary requirements. Our 360 degree Beach Bar is fully stocked with a laid back atmosphere that is perfect for Corporate Bonding.
We have a house reef located just 50 metres from the beach that is perfect for anyone looking to snorkel, dive, kayak and paddle board. Have a relaxing and peaceful massage or facial at our Bamboo Bliss spa.

TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITIES
Digital Scavenger Hunt (2.5 hours)
With a focus on communication, teamwork, and time management, Rimba Resort’s Digital Scavenger Hunt begins as each team is given a set of photos which they must locate somewhere on the island. Teams will have to work together to find each location and photograph it with their entire team in the picture. The first team to race back to Rimba Resort with a full set of photos wins!
Rimba Olympics (2.5 hours)
A popular choice for a fun corporate bonding experience is our very own Rimba Olympics! With an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and fun, Rimba Olympics is a highly customisable experience which can be tailored to suit your needs, but often includes the following activities:
- Tug of War
- Volley Ball
- Ice breakers
- Pass the coconut
- Army style obstacle courses
Survivor Island (5 hours)
The small uninhabited islands neighbouring Pulau Sibu provide the perfect location for a survivor adventure! In fact, the Robinson Expedition (Swedish Survivor series) used three of these islands for their television production. Teamwork and communication are of vital importance in this survivor challenge as each team will work together to construct a raft using scavenged items found on the island. Teams must use creativity in order to produce a sea-worthy raft. Teams have only a limited amount of time to hop on board, and race each other back to shore. It’s a race against time, as well as the other team, until the very end! Fresh fruit and refreshments will be provided.
Snorkeling Trip (4 hours)
Your team is sure to enjoy a fun and exciting corporate bonding experience with our teambuilding snorkelling adventure. It all starts with a 15 minute boat ride out to one of the neighbouring uninhabited islands where you will find beautiful coral reefs. The team will have plenty of time to snorkel, to relax and to get to know each other while chilling out on the beach or exploring these fascinating little islands. Fresh fruit and beverages will be provided.
Sibu Island Cruise
Reward your team for all their hard work with a Sibu Island Cruise. Head out in the daytime and cruise around the island capturing views of the beautiful shores, and dense jungle of Pulau Sibu. Evening sunset cruises are a popular choice, for a rewarding and relaxing, corporate bonding adventure with optional on-board cocktail service.
Evening Team Building (2 Hours)
Our most laid back activities take place in the resort’s sea view lounge and bar. Evening teambuilding is a fun way to facilitate corporate bonding and allow everyone to get to know one another while relaxing after some of our more challenging daytime experiences. This activity can be tailored to suit your company’s individual needs.
